Does Gelato 45 usually meet its listed THC?
Mostly no: the better-fitting of the two published THC ranges held only 5.7% of Gelato 45 tests, and the lone single-number listing did not sit above the 19.65% lab median.1 Flower tests met or exceeded Leafly's 19% figure in 64% of cases, or about 6 in 10.1,3
The range claims both describe a small slice of labs: 23–26% from AllBud included 5.7% of tests, and 25–27% from Weedmaps also included 5.7%.1,4,5 These figures are not batch-specific; for a particular jar, use that package's certificate of analysis.

Yes: Gelato 45 was mostly flower under the exact name, with flower making up 82% of 66 lab results; the rest was 11% shake and trim, 6.1% concentrates and 1.5% other or unrecorded, and only flower feeds our strain figures.1
Longer names accounted for 8 additional lab results containing Gelato 45, or 11% of the broader name set; the leading examples were “London Pound Cake x Gelato 45” (4), “SWEET GELATO 45-FLOWER” (2) and “Gelato 45\/Strawberry Banana” (1).1 Those are excluded because extra words and cross marks can indicate a different item; see how we separate strain names.

What this data cannot tell you
- For Gelato 45, the lead-terpene call is left blank because the count is 10 tests reporting at least five individual terpenes, below the required 20 such tests.1
- We do not compare Gelato 45 terpene mixes because individual terpene values are reported by only 10 tests, and the cutoff for that profile analysis is 30.1
- We leave out lab-to-lab differences for Gelato 45 because the data do not have 3 labs with 20 or more tests each.1
- We omit the THC and total-terpene pairing for Gelato 45; the dataset does not reach 60 tests with both measures reported.1
- For Gelato 45, we leave out the year trend because no qualifying year pair is both at least two years apart and at 20 or more tests per year.1
- The lab set covers Gelato 45 flower submitted in 4 states during 2019–2023; a package-level certificate of analysis is the document for judging an individual jar.1
- These chemistry measurements do not say how this strain will feel to any individual consumer.
